From Classroom to Farm: A Success Story for Our Farmers

from-classroom-to-farm-a-success-story-for-our-farmers

One month ago, the Sauti za Kijani project trained groups of farmers on how to make compost fertilizer. The training was hands-on, so farmers learned by doing.

Today, the farmers have finished the process and are harvesting their compost. It is ready to use on their farms.

This compost will bring back the health of the soil. It will also help farmers save money, because they no longer need to buy expensive fertilizer from shops. They can farm better and depend on themselves. The skills they learned will help them for many farming seasons to come, protecting food security and the environment.
